So here we go! Thanks everyone for being interested in our fun trip. Steve and I have looked forward to doing a trip like this forever! We look forward to - seeing the crazy history that has taken place for thousands of years, pyramids, Valley of the Kings, riding a camel (pew), cruising down the nile :), feeling like Indiana Jones and riding our horses into Petra - the Red Rose City, taking a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, sacrament meeting in Jerusalem, and of course being in the Garden of Gethsamene, sitting on the banks of river Jordan, and seeing the Garden tomb.
We look forward to taking you along with us - through Steve's awesome pictures. I even got a new camera for the trip and look forward to blogging a few of my own :) (I'm sure you'll be able to tell the difference!!
We leave this Wed. Feb. 3rd for a brief howdy-do to our Boston 3, and Dennis, and then on the 4th leave for the long journey.
Being gone for a whole month is a crazy thought - it has taken a little work, but thanks to Denver and Catie we have no worries!! Denver promised to really pay attention to her, and Catie promises to be a safe driver!!!

We also get to spend a few days with our good friends Katie and Gary Dewey. They live in Barcelona, Spain and will be the last leg of our trip. We have been told that Barcelona is a highlight in Europe and a must see! We are really excited to see the Dewey's and have them show us the town!

Thanks again everyone for putting up with our crazy trips going here and there. It has become a favorite past time and one that we know we are very blessed to be able to do. Hopefully you can feel a bit like you are there with us - because, of course we would take each of you on every trip with us if we could!!!
